2010 OFFICERS & SCHEDULE

Hopefully summer is finally here to stay a while and we can golf in the sunshine.

We are at a membership of 29 now and are enjoying the new players. In order to help our new members as well as the rest of us, Anne Jenson will be discussing Rules every Tuesday morning before we go out to play. If there is a particular one you would like to have discussed please let Anne know.

Our Visitation day is planned for July 13th. We hope to have lots of ladies from other clubs joining us.

CLUB RULES

• Golf is every Tuesday unless otherwise noted. 

• Please be at the clubhouse at least 45 minutes before tee time so line up can be done in a timely manner.

• 2010 dues are $35.00/members, $20.09/week for non-members,  and weekly league fee is $1. 

• Two (2) cards, totaled, signed and attested must be turned in after each round.

• Play for 9-holes will be limited to 2 hours & 15 minutes.  As no golfer may post more than 10 strokes per hole, the ball must be picked up if you have not holed out in 10 strokes or less.      This rule will be strictly enforced, even if this disqualifies a player from the weekly game.

• A minimum of five (5) nine-hole scores, properly certified and played on Avondale, is required for a handicap. 

• If playing another day or course, post each nine-hole score on the computer. 

• Read the rules on your scorecard.  All play is governed by USGA rules.

• To be eligible for the 9-hole Club Championship, you must have played 8 times with the 9-Hole Ladies’ Club in the current year.

GOAL

Our goal is to promote comradery, improve the level of play, and endorse golf etiquette amongst women golfers of all ages and skill levels.
